Article Marketing - Why Article Marketing Increases Search Engine Rankings

Article marketing, of course, is the process of writing articles, including one or more links to your web site within the articles, and submitting the articles to the various online article directories.

One of the things for which article marketing is especially useful is that of increasing search engine rankings.

How does that work?

Lets take a step back.

How do the search engines determine which websites should be ranked higher than others, and in which ranking?

One of the ways that search engines determine which web site should rank higher than another web site is by counting the number of inbound links to that web site. An inbound link is a link that is coming into your web site.

The theory is this: if you have more inbound links, you must be more popular, and if you are more popular then your web site must have more to offer, than another web site in your niche with fewer inbound links than you.

So how do you get more inbound links, and therefore increase popularity and search engine rankings?

One of my favorite ways , and one of the easiest ways, to do this is by article marketing. Each article that you submit to an article directory, with a link in it pointing back to your web site, gives you one additional inbound link to your web site.

Article marketing is a quick and easy way to get multiple inbound links to your web site. I regularly submit my articles to a list of about 150 article directories and each of these directories places a link back to my web site, which increases my inbound link count and my link popularity.

Advanced Article Marketing Secrets - Learn How To Turn A Reader Into A Paying Customer

Article marketing is a really good way to promote your business. Unfortunately, I see very few people who make the most of it and get it to work for them.

The main problem is that very few people will actually get it right. Those who do will earn an insane amount of money online. In this article I would like to go over the steps that you need to take to monetize your article traffic.

When you create your website I suggest that you develop a high converting squeeze page. You will include a link to this page in your resource when you submit your articles to directories. Let us examine in detail why you would want to do this. If you send your visitor a sales page it will be very unlikely that they will buy from you the very first time. The best way to do this is to first capture the name and email address.

This allows you to send an ecourse and first warm your prospect up. This will significantly improve your conversion. It allows you to first develop a relationship with your prospect before you sell to them. Now the really important part is that you will build a database of leads that you can market to over and over again. Which would you prefer a one time sale or repeat sales from loyal customers.

Unfortunately, very few article marketers do this. Many market an affiliate product directly by including their own domain name which redirects to an affiliate product. Consequently they are leaving big money on the table.

Article Marketing - How To Get Your Articles Read!

As a zero-cost, exposure-rich way to get your site noticed on the Internet, article marketing is hard to beat. After all, what other method lets you tell people about things that interest them, put your link into other large sites for free and virally spread the word about what an expert you are - for free?

The techniques are simple and well within reach. In fact, effective article marketing means keeping away from sophisticated literary styles. You are communicating with people who want good, clean information that's easy to digest and quick to read. It's as though you were explaining something to a friend. When you write your article, imagine that person to be in front of you and write your article so that they can immediately understand what you are talking about.

Although the techniques are simple, there are some basic rules to be observed. First of all you do need to write correctly. If you have doubts about your ability here, take heart. There are ways to get around this (notably, write short, simple sentences that have a good "flow") and tools to help as well. If you are using a text editor like Microsoft Word, then use the built-in spelling and grammar checker. In fact do this even if you have supreme confidence in your ability to write. It's extraordinary what errors can go unnoticed because you are re-reading the text that you wrote yourself. The checker will find these for you.

In addition to this, a number of article sites, focusing on quality articles, include basic spell checking as a possibility in the submission procedure. Note that quality for them means the same thing as indicated above: articles that are of interest to their readers and that bring them clear, relevant information in an easy to digest way.

Your choice of article sites will be important as well. Some of them are very big and well represented in the search engines. On the other hand, it may be more difficult to get your articles authorized for inclusion. You'll want to write a series of articles in any case to get into the swing of it and to test on various sites. Submit your articles and keep track of how quickly they get included, what the click rate is (how may people reading your article) and how well your articles get rated in search engines, especially for keywords that interest you. Then compare and focus on the article sites that are getting you the best results.

Article sites also have guidelines on length of articles. In fact, make that "restrictions" rather than "guidelines". When you read their submission procedure, you will typically see how they want articles to be submitted. For the length, 250 words is a minimum, 500 words is more in favor. But don't make your article too long either. If you find that you have a lot to say, then chop your article up into 500 word chunks, each chunk dealing with one aspect of the topic. That way you'll be able to submit multiple articles as well and benefit from multiple exposures.

Next on the list is the resource box that is also a feature of many article directories. This is where (and it is the only place) you get to sell. Do not sell in the main text of your article. Inform, entertain, question if you like, but avoid the sales pitch. Editors will often refuse articles that come on too strong on the sales side, and even if they make it through, readers will lose interest fast. After all, their goal in reading is not (yet) to buy. Warm up the discussion by degrees. Give them good information that encourages them to get to the bottom of the article and to click on your link to then go to the next phase of "pre-selling" or possibly a sign-up page for a newsletter, a product or a service.

Have some fun with the resource box if you like. Apply some of the classics to grab people's interest, like spiking their curiosity, using appropriate humor or appealing to their instincts of greed or fear. That's what will incite them to click on and go to your site, to make your article marketing a success.

Your Website Marketing Strategies Should Include Article Writing!

Another terrific reason for claiming that Article Marketing is one of the great website marketing strategies is because the effects are nearly instantaneous.

Quite frankly, when you submit your articles to well known article directories you have almost immediate results. This not only contributes to sales, but also, because of back links to your site, helps your website to be indexed by the search engines. Which, and this is most particularly true for new websites, makes this one of the most powerful website marketing strategies.

opposite of what some believe, there is nothing hard about writing articles. It is better if you pick a subject, (niche), that you are interested in and familiar with. But irregardless, people online are searching for information. Supplying visitors and readers of your articles interesting and even contentious information should always be part of your website marketing strategies.

Another common opinion is that you have to be a celebrated expert about a subject to write articles about it. That is a ridiculous idea! Many folks, including this author, are sometimes just looking for the comments and thoughts of others regarding a certain subject.

Just try to have fun with your writing. Be yourself and be original. You do not have to be an expert in a subject to write about it. It is misleading and even dishonest to encourage your readers to think you are an expert in a subject when you are not.

Get started right away putting an article writing campaign together. If your dream is to have tons of traffic to your website and see your sales skyrocket, don't procrastinate! This is the perfect time to make Article writing and submissions a part of your proven website marketing strategies!

Article Marketing - Discover 4 Brand New Secrets to Amplify Your Article Marketing

In the internet, content is considered the king. That means in order for you to make it big online, you have to give people what they are looking for - information, so they will flock on your website and support your products and services.

Here are the 4 brand new secrets to amplify your article marketing:

1. Consider the rules set by article submission sites. You would want your articles to be accepted and published the first time you submit them, right? This is to save you the time and energy from revising them should they be rejected. Here are some of the publishers' guidelines that you must adhere to in order to eliminate the chances of your articles being rejected: your articles must not contain hyperlinks, blatant advertisements, any form of sales pitches, and inappropriate content such as sex, terrorism, etc. They must also follow the recommended keyword density which is 3% to avoid keyword spamming.

2. Write "10 tips" and "How-to" types of articles. Based on researches, these are currently the most read type of articles over the internet. People prefer them because they are direct to the point and easy to understand. They are also usually short and easy on the eyes.

3. Proofread your articles. Before you make your articles available online, make sure that they are free from any kinds of error that can potentially annoy your readers. It would be better if you can ask someone, perhaps a professional editor to review your content and give you objective feedback about your articles.

4. Compel your readers to act. What would you like your readers to do after reading your articles? Would you want them to visit your website, sign-up for your newsletters, fill up surveys, or make a purchase? Communicate this on your resource box and use powerful words that can easily move your readers.

Article Marketing - Where to Submit Your Articles

What is Article Marketing?

In its simplest form, article marketing is a type of advertising through which a business writes short articles related to its respective industry. Once written, the business makes these articles freely available for distribution and publication in the marketplace. Each article contains a 'bio box' and 'by-line' which include references and contact information for the author's business. Well written content articles released for free distribution have the potential of gaining the author business credibility within his or her market, as well as new clients.*

It is easy to see the value of article marketing, if you understand that each time the article is published, you get free backlinks from your author box. The articles are not likely to get published on PR 9 sites, but a hundred links from PR 0-5 sites can build your PageRank. The more articles you publish, the more links you get.

How to Publish Your Articles?

There are some, who think you should only submit your articles to a few of the best article directories. They usually argue that 1. doing otherwise is only a waste of time, or 2. submitting the same article to more directories increases the amount of duplicate content, and makes your article rank even worse in search engines.

Now, on 1. I agree: you should not waste your time with low traffic article indexes, but submit to any that you think will benefit you. I have compiled a list of the most important ones for you below. On 2. however, I must totally disagree. The articles, if successful, will be published identical on a number of sites. Submitting to more directories only helps publishers find them, search engines are not going to ban the content any more than otherwise. Besides, I see backlinks as the most important use of articles, and submitting to directories always gives at least one link. Secondary traffic through articles coming up in search engines is only a bonus.

Where to Submit Them?

1. ArticleMarketer.com

They send your article out to publishers on their list. Submission to the complete publisher list is a paid service, but you can submit to the partial list with a free account. The only problem I have with Article Marketer is that they do not show the exposure information to free publishers.

2. EzineArticles.com

The largest directory with the most authors. You can get a free account with 10 submissions. Submit good articles and you may get a platinum account with unlimited submissions.

3. ArticleCodex.com

A newer and smaller directory, but Article Codex offers Revenue Sharing. You enter your AdSense publisher id, and your ads are shown on 50% of page loads on your articles. Profit while marketing your website. Articles are quickly accepted, unless they fail some formatting test.

4. ArticlesBase.com

Not very different from all the other article directories out there, but submission is easy, and articles get accepted easily. They have accepted all my articles without modification, and in just a couple of days.

Article Marketing Secrets That Sell

Article submission to article directories is one of the most effective ways to promote your business. Article marketing is free and can attract targeted traffic to your website.

Internet marketing articles need to have an attention grabbing headline that contains your keyword. Articles need to be informative and relevant to your targeted audience. It is also helpful to optimize your articles for search engine rankings by writing in keywords. The keyword density that should be used is open to debate. Originally, webmasters found that a 6-7% density worked well to attain a high search engine position. However, the writing was generally appalling with this type of density and often web pages were nothing but a form of spam that offered nothing of value to the reader.

Since then, search engine algorithms have become more sophisticated in an effort to catch out these poor value websites. Now, some SEO marketing professionals recommend a keyword density of between 3-4% while others recommend a density of only 1-2%. There is also a strong movement towards organic writing that doesn't bother with keywords at all. This movement is supported by Google's latent semantic indexing algorithm. Latent semantic indexing (LSI) looks for words and expressions that have a similar or connected meaning to the main keywords used in an article.

When people provide genuine information and write naturally, they tend to use a variety of related expressions. They are therefore likely to be considered by search engines to be high value, genuine sites. One of the most successful, organically written websites is stevepavlina.com. His traffic and business has risen exponentially over time and he has not used SEO strategies at all. For article marketing, you may want to test your market by writing with a low keyword density and include expressions with a similar meaning to appeal to Google's LSI algorithm. Test your results by monitoring website traffic numbers. You can also write some articles that don't use SEO and compare the results.

Articles need to be written in plain English. If English is not your first language and you are unsure of colloquialisms and grammar, consider paying for a freelance writer to write your articles for you. This does not have to be expensive. Try to keep your paragraphs and sentences relatively short. Some longer sentences are fine but generally speaking keep it simple and to the point. Most article directories have word limits. Try to keep your articles under five hundred words. If you cannot do this, the article can be separated into two parts with links to the other part of the article.

The keys to successful article marketing are to write well and write often. You cannot simply write one or two articles and expect them to make a difference to your business. They are a great way to generate free website traffic but you have to submit articles regularly. The result is exponential. A good rule of thumb is "an article a day will make articles pay." Having said this, make sure your resource box is written well and has links to relevant pages on your website. You won't get any visitors from article marketing if your readers aren't enticed to click on your link.

Lucrative Article Marketing - 3 Very Simple Steps to Do Article Marketing

The defining aspect of article marketing is to simply allow for your messages to be conveyed in the market thru the use of the article writing. The use of article marketing to relay any important message to the potential client is a proven effective method in both cost and results. These have become the driving forces for the continued trust and usage that a lot of businessmen and marketing experts bestow upon this tool. For the many new business enthusiasts and marketers, there are a few simple steps that you can perform should you want to engage into article marketing. Below are some of them:

a. Clearly define your targeted clients. By knowing who your potential clients are and what they basically ask for in terms of information, you will have a better perspective on how you will be creating your article material and basically the entire marketing process that you have in mind. In addition, this will also allow you to lose some unessential aspects of the article that you may inadvertently write.

b. Clearly define what you will be writing. Since you have pre-collected information about the profile of your targeted clients, you can now start collating some ideas to write for your article. Make sure, though, that the article writing is something that bears relevance in the field of specialization of the prospective readers, which will be deemed functional and usable.

c. Cleary review the contents of your resource box. At the culmination of the article material, you can write important details about you. Make sure that you include your identifiers such as your name, the company that you are representing, and potentially a link that will direct these readers to your own web landing page. However, do not try to make the resource box look like an autobiography. Make it rather short in size but strongly written.

Article Marketing - Are You Making These Mistakes?

Article Marketing is a great way to get the word out about yourself and your business. Even people that have never written before are finding success writing short informative articles and marketing them through Article Directories. The great thing is you don't have to be a professional writer to benefit from this Internet based form of marketing. It's simply a matter of writing about something you know or are interested in, and writing your article as if you were talking to a friend sitting next to you. While I believe just about anyone is capable of writing an article that is worthy of being published, there are a few things to avoid when writing your article to keep it from winding up on the publishing scrap pile.

Of all the mistakes that writers make, gross spelling errors is one of the most blatant. When I speak of spelling errors, I'm not talking about the occasional misspelling of a word, or using the word in the wrong context like using 'there' instead of 'their' but we are talking about articles that are written as if the writer has never opened a dictionary before. The thing is, there really is no reason to submit an article full of misspelled words. All one needs to do, is use a 'spell checker' to proofread their article. Some article directories like 'Ezine Articles' even provide a free spell checker that will let you check your spelling before submitting the article. No matter how good you think your spelling is, my advice is to use a spell checker before submitting your article. I always use one before I submit an article, and I'm amazed at the spelling errors I find in my writings.

Another mistake that writers make is writing an article that is either too long or too short. You want to try and get in the habit of saying what you have to say as concisely as possible. I usually try to compose my articles with a structure of 5-7 paragraphs and word count of between 400-700 words. Any less than 400 words, and most newsletter publishers and owners of websites won't bother to use it for publication. It's the same with articles that run on forever. Remember, you are not writing a book, you just want to compose a short, entertaining or informative article that others will read and hopefully post on their website. Your goal is to have your article distributed around the Internet as much as possible. Keeping your articles short but concise will help you to accomplish this goal.

One of the most egregious errors that I see some authors make is the misuse of the 'Resource Box'. It's a shame to see a well written article about some topic only to see the Resource Box not being used properly. For instance, if you're writing an article about Tropical Fish, you wouldn't want to include a link in your Resource Box that takes the visitor to a site that tells them how they can save money on their taxes with a piece of software. You want to link the information in the Resource Box to the article as much as possible. If you are writing a somewhat general article about making money, you're probably safe in linking to most other sites about making money in one form or another. On the other hand, if your article is written about a particular niche, then use the Resource Box to send your visitors to a website that relates to what your article is about.

Another vital ingredient to Article Marketing success is submitting your articles to the right Article Directories. There are literally thousands of directories to submit your articles to on the Internet. While some people will suggest that you submit your articles to as many directories as possible, I try and submit my articles to the highest ranked directories on the Internet. The reasons for this are not only because you receive more visitors from these directory sites, but your articles will oftentimes receive a higher page ranking by the search engines which leads to long term traffic for you. One technique I use to check on the effectiveness of an article directory is after submitting an article, going back a week or two later to check on the article stats. If I find that the article is waiting to be reviewed or hasn't been downloaded much, then I'll most likely avoid submitting any more articles to that directory in the future.

Article Marketing can be a great way to bring traffic to your website. If done properly, your article can bring you traffic for years to come. While your article writing probably won't lead to a new career as a novelist, it can lead to greater exposure for you and increased profit.

Profitable Article Marketing - Uncover 4 Great Methods to Improve Your Article Marketing

Article marketing is a great off-page SEO solution that can help you build quality inbound links for your website without the need to resort to link building campaigns. You just need to write and distribute your articles online to impart your knowledge, gain the trust of your potential clients, and drive them to your website.

Here are the 4 great methods to improve your article marketing:

1. Supercharge your titles. This is the first element that online users will see online. Thus, you need to create a strong impression to compel them to open and read your articles. Make your headlines short, direct to the point, and descriptive of what your article is all about. Employ emotion, logic, exaggeration, and anything that will push your potential clients' buttons. Remember, to be successful in this marketing technique, you need to be desperate for attention.

2. Power up your author's bio. Introduce yourself to online users by giving them sneak peak on what you do, your hobbies, and your willingness to help. Avoid making your short biography a blatant advertisement and just make it personal. This is your first step in building rapport with your readers so they will learn to trust you eventually. Don't forget to include your most friendly-looking picture to make your bio more interesting and visually appealing.

3. Do keyword analysis. Know what keywords are ranking better on search engines and use them on your content. By doing so, you will make your articles highly searchable online.

4. Carefully choose your topics. If you don't know where to get great topic ideas, I highly recommend forums and article submission sites. These can give you great insights on what your potential clients might be looking for on your articles. Just stick to those topics that are relevant to your products so you can attract qualified traffic to your website.

Matt Cutts On Article Marketing

Article marketing has just become an even more powerful form of web promotion. This well known, tried and tested web marketing tool, had, in some people's eyes, lost part of its value in recent years. Article marketing in now back in fashion however, as Google have started to clamp down on paid links and excessive reciprocal links. No longer are people able to just buy their way to the top, it is now the grafters, people like you and me, who are willing and happy to produce quality content for the web, that will once again rise to the top of those all important rankings - let the good times roll.

My name is Steve Hill; I have seen very positive results from this form of web marketing and often advise people that this is how, in my opinion, they should go about promoting their website/s. So often in the past these people have stated that they do not have the time to write and submit articles, or that why should they start to write when they can just purchase a pr7 backward link on ebay for three months to gain the same results? I always found it hard to answer that question, but Matt Cutts and his crew have now made it a whole lot easier.

Certain people will still take chances on purchasing backward links, perhaps they are lazy, perhaps they are stupid! Why take the risk? If you set yourself a goal to write say twenty articles per month, you will soon see your site moving up the rankings. Yes it is hard work, it is quite boring work at times, and yes it will take time to have an effect, but have an effect it will.

Some people argue that article marketing does not work due to duplicate content. This would be true if you were also including the same article that you have submitted to sites like ezinearticles, on your own website, but let's face it, that would be rather daft!

Profitable Article Marketing - Revealed - 4 Outstanding Ways to Make Money Through Article Marketing

If there is one easy way to make money online, it is through writing and distributing your articles to various publishing sites. This process which is commonly referred to as article marketing can effectively drive quality traffic to your website and augment your sales potentials.

Here are the 4 outstanding ways to make money through article marketing:

1. Constantly improve your writing skills. This is one of the most effective secrets if you want to get ahead of the pack. Make it a habit to write articles on a regular basis or read articles and ebooks that can effectively help you smoothen out the rough edges of your writing. By doing so, you can be assured that you will be able to deliver better articles each time you write.

2. Create killer resource box. If your resource box contains your website's URL alone, you are missing a lot of opportunities. To make it work for you, make sure that you include your name, your title, your elevator pitch and your powerful call to action. You can also offer incentives or communicate your desire to help to make it even more enticing.

3. Multiply the number of your articles. One of the elements that can guarantee you success in article marketing is the quantity of your output. Remember, the more articles you submit, the more quality inbound links you will obtain for your website.

4. Outsource. If you are like most webmasters who are always swamped with other marketing activities or someone who doesn't have a knack for writing, you can still utilize this marketing tool by hiring ghostwriters or article posters. Just make sure that your ghostwriters understand your niche very well and have the ability to create articles that are targeted to the needs and demands of your potential clients.

Targeted Article Marketing - 6 Sure Ways to Get Started with Article Marketing

There are a number of advertising strategies for the internet, but not all of them are able to claim to withstand the test of time. Article marketing, however, is one of those few that are still left standing after all these years. There is truly power in the written word.

Given how effective article marketing is, you surely want to know how to get started on it in order to promote your website. Here are six ways to do that:

1. Be a certified expert on your topic. If you want your articles to have a strong following, make sure that the information you provide is accurate. If readers see you as an authority on the subject, they will diligently follow what you write about.

2. Inject humor. There's no such thing as a boring topic. If your subject is too serious, you can always lighten it up with a little bit of wit. If your subject is fun in the firs place, this step shouldn't be too hard.

3. Use appropriate keywords. If you want search engine crawlers to index your site, use the latest and most popular keywords related to your topic as of publish date. Make sure to keep watch of the latest trends on the internet.

4. Maximize your resource box. Make sure you have your complete information in your resource box at the end of each article. Include your name, your field of expertise, the name of your business, the kind of business you do, and of course, the correct link to your website. The information doesn't have to be long; it just has to be complete.

5. Create an e-book. If you've written more than enough articles, you can compile them in one convenient e-book. It makes your work accessible to readers. You can also sell it and therefore, earn more.

6. Create a blog. This is an alternative to creating an e-book. If your priority is to attract more visitors to gain a wider audience, you can post your articles in a blog.

Article Marketing - Using Articles To Maintain Customers And Bring In New Business

Targeting a customer base allows for more consistency in your planning, so you should consider the use of articles to appeal to a specific audience. It is usually better to have a steady base subscriber or client pool than to have to market blindly with every new release, so use article marketing to build a core of customers. You need good articles, and whether you contract writers or write articles yourself, never forget that their purpose is to improve or create sales or subscriptions

So now you have a relatively steady pool of clientele - now what? In order to keep them coming back to your business again and again, you have to keep them involved in the happenings of the business. If you provide subscribers with involving information regularly, they will remain customers. But if they recognize your articles as uninteresting "fluff," they probably will lose interest in your company. Frequently providing customers with free gifts that are exclusive to your clients will keep you connected to your client base and improve customer relations. This is also a great way to keep clients informed about new offers, alterations in products or policies, or any other changes in your business that they will want to know about. Article marketing does all of this very well.

Just because you have taken steps to try to keep your existing customers, does not mean that you can ignore the possibility of gaining new customers. Use article marketing to entice new customers with a free gift or reward for subscribing to your web site or service. This is a good way to let them know you value their business and want to reward them for their support. Free articles are great for promotions and are very effective for the cost. These articles can promote your products while also providing useful and valuable information to your subscribers. It's a great tool that you should definitely consider.

Profitable Article Marketing - 6 Key Ways to Make Money With Article Marketing

Article marketing is probably the best traffic-generating technique there is in the internet today. It help you create quality inbound links to your website in an instant and it helps your website rank higher on major search engines. Not only it brings enormous traffic to your site, but above all, it makes your website popular without the need to shell out money. Here are the 6 ways to make money with article marketing:

1. Consistency. Few submissions won't guarantee your success in article marketing. To promote quality and steady traffic to your site, you have to be consistent in terms of writing quality articles and submissions.

2. Fresh content. Always provide your readers with new information that is useful and timely.

3. Length of the article. Most online users do not have the time to read very long articles. If you have a lot to say, make a 2 500-word article instead of 1-1,000 word articles. You will be sure that your articles will be read and you earn not just one, but 2 quality inbound links.

4. Article distribution service. If you don't have the time to submit your articles manually, you can use article distribution services that are very cost-effective. For less than $5, these services will electronically distribute your articles to thousands of online publishing and article directories.

5. Resource box. You would like your readers to click on your website's URL, right? You can do that by crafting the perfect resource box that will entice your readers to visit your site after they read your article.

6. Use keywords throughout your articles. You can sprinkle keywords on your title, on the body of your article, and even on your resource box so your article will be indexed by search engines.

Article Marketing Secrets Revealed

Use article marketing to start an internet business especially if you do not have a budget. Most of the methods like pay per click, ezine and banner advertising cost money to drive traffic. The free methods like traffic exchanges, FFA leads and classified advertising produce leads less willing to buy. With article marketing your leads already know you from your articles and this makes them more qualified to buy from you as they would not have clicked through to your website if they did not trust you.

Choose your target market and write about a topic that interests you and that you can give expert advice on. Brainstorm your ideas and find a topic related to your website. You need to also specifically write for your target audience.

Before writing your article you need to determine your title. You need a headline that grabs attention to get the reader's attention. You also need to use a keyword research tool like Wordtracker to determine the keywords you need in your headline. You need to look for keywords searched often and not too much competition. Once you have determined these keywords you need to incorporate this into your your title. Search engines will index the article on popular directories like EzineArticles.

Write the introduction and conclusion next as this will get your creative juices flowing. You need to bullet all the points you would like to write about next. Expand on these points and write them in full.

You need to proof you article once completed and check for grammar and spelling mistakes. You can sleep on it and check it the next day. You can also let a friend or relative give you feedback on your article. Use a free editor like Notetab lite to format your article into 60 characters. You can also use a feature in Notetab lite where you can split and join lines. This allows you to easily remove hard returns which some article directories do not allow.

You need to add a summary two to three sentences in length to describe your article. You need to also choose your keywords for your article, write a compelling resource box where you will represent your unique selling proposition and a call to action to visit your website or download a free report.

Submit your articles to the most popular article directories like EzineArticles.com and you can submit to the less popular directories to generate backlinks for your website. Article marketing needs to be done consistently to see traffic. Writing consistently your search engine rankings will improve as more websites publish your articles and you get more backlinks.
