Article Marketing - High Volume Begins With High Quality & Quantity Articles

Recognition on Top Article Marketing Sites starts at nearly 1000 articles. If you don't have at least a thousand written, you won't make the front page list, and the numbers are rising. But that isn't the only way to get noticed.

Quality counts too.

Effective Article Marketing presumes you know something about keyword optimization, grammar, and basic writing techniques. While there are those who make it to the top of the Article Marketing heap with bad grammar, no keyword optimization, and low grade techniques, their work doesn't capture the audience, or get republished. Fact is, if you want to be seen, provide QUALITY.

Quantity counts too.

You can write a valuable piece of prose in 100 words or less, however... that won't get you published at EzineArticles or very many of the other Article Marketing Sites either. The majority of sites want 250 to 300 words minimum. Optimal article size is around 500 words. A dynamic, highly visible, useful and informative article will always be more published and more read than a bunch of words slung together to look like an article.

High Volume Results.

While 10 - 20 articles on the Article Marketing Sites will get you some results, if you continue to write consistently, building your directory by 5 - 10 articles or more each week, your business will grow, your articles will have higher impact, and your traffic volume will increase. If you desire to make a difference online, increase your volume.

Are you ready to make a difference?

Crank Out Multiple Articles To Become An Expert And Explode Your Business

Let me ask you a very important question. Are you still struggling to see results from your article marketing efforts? You may be writing articles, but simply not getting the results that you want.

In this article I would like to go over the key ingredient for article marketing success. You simply are not writing enough to achieve success. The biggest problem is that if you plan on only doing one article a day then this method of promotion will not work.

You are branding your name on the internet. When people subscribe to your newsletter or purchase your product it is because you have built your brand up and people trust you enough to do business with you. As the famous sales trainer Jeoffrey Gitomer once said people only do business with other people that they like, know and trust.

Ask yourself honestly who would you rather purchase from somebody who has 5 articles out there or somebody who has 500 hundred articles. If you read 500 articles by one author you are more likely to trust them and purchase their product than if you only read 5 articles. So to dramatically increase your business you need to increase the number of articles that you have out there.

This is a common mistake by many newbies. They think that all they need to do is write 20 articles and they are going to achieve massive success. You need to be producing and submitting articles to directories on a consistent basis to make this method work. Eventually you will build your brand as an expert in your market and when people are ready to purchase they will automatically think of you first.

Advanced Article Marketing Secrets - The Dilemma Between Long And Short Articles

I am sure that if you have been using article marketing for some time you would have come across long articles and also short articles. You may be considering which of the two to use.

This is my primary method of traffic generation and I have experimented with both methods. What I have traditionally found is that long articles take up so much space that the reader actually does not see my resource box. In the end he does not end up clicking through to my website and subscribing to my newsletter. So in the end it is very ineffective to build a list.

You may be wondering what to do if you were to have a long 1000 word article. I suggest that in this case you break it up into three parts of approximately 300 words each. Say for example your title is How To Write A Killer Resource Box you would include Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 at the end of the title for each article.

In some cases there may be a use for very long articles. Usually this type will have a lot of expert information condensed. So if you would like to brand your name on the internet you can write one of these and submit them to popular magazines that publish reader's articles for maximum exposure.

However, if you are thinking of building a successful internet business you need to seriously look at building your list and getting loyal customers who buy over and over from you as this is the best way of building a stable business.

I suggest that you focus on 250 to 350 word articles to build your responsive list.

How Many Articles Does it Take to Be Perceived as the Leading Authority on a Subject?

The question has been posed on the top online article submission site on the Internet. The number one article submission site on Planet Earth: "How many articles does it take to become perceived as being the market authority on a narrow or broad topic?"

This is an interesting question and perception is also a very interesting word as well. For one to be perceived as an expert in a subject matter they would most likely need enough articles to fill up a 50,000 word eBook. If their average article was 500 to 1,000 words then that would be between 50 to 100 well-written articles. Even if they cut them down to 300 to 400 word bite size articles on many various sub-topics we are still talking well over 100 articles you see.

If an online article author has fewer than 25 articles on a subject, it might be hard for a reader to perceive them as being a leading authority on a broad subject. Even a narrow topic they would need to be able to fill up a 10,000 to 20,000 word research paper and that would be about 20 to 40 articles. So, either way we are really looking at more than twenty articles before the reader's perception would be inclined to label you as an expert or leading authority from their perspective.

The fascinating thing about this subject is that it is indeed a reader preference call, meaning that there is no wrong or right absolute answer, so as the leading authority on online article authoring, I simply lead you with this thought to consider. You make the call.

Making Money by Selling What You Have to Say

The best product to sell on the Internet is Information. By selling information, you will not have any inventory to keep track, and the profit margin for each sale is very high. You can start a business on the Internet by selling an information product like an e-book, which talks about a subject you know.

You can start selling on the Internet by building a website with advertising, affiliate links and associated products. After you have set up your website, focus on the basic, which is to drive traffic, traffic, and traffic. With the traffic, build up a quality list, and then try to convert your list subscribers to your customers.

Now I am going to share with you the steps in creating your own information product so that you can start your internet business right away.

1. Do a market research to find out the demand for a particular topic. You go to Yahoo Keyword Selector tool and enter your main topic; this will give you a list of searches related to your keyword - how many people searched for that term. It will also give you an idea of the profitability of your topic.

2. Conduct a competitive analysis before you decided to create the information product of your interest. Make use of Google and Clickbank to check that whether are there similar products on the Internet.

3. After you have done your analysis, create your information product and turn it into an e-book by converting to a .pdf file.

4. With your information product ready, it is now time to build your website. Your website needs to have at least 3 pages, the Opt-In Page, the Pitching Page, and the Thank You Page. The Opt-In Page is used to capture your visitors information like First Name and Email Address, where you can do promote other related affiliate products to them. The Pitching Page is where you sell your product, and the Thank You Page is where your customers download your products.

5. After your website is live on the Internet, the next thing you will need to do consistently is to drive traffic, but not any traffic, drive quality traffic. Using Google Adwords, which is a Pay-per-Click program, is a fast and good way to drive quality leads to your opt-in page.

6. Lastly, use other Internet marketing strategies to drive more targeted traffic to your website.

Do see your first sale; you will need to be persistent and patient. For one to make thousands of dollars from the Internet does not happen overnight. But it is definitely possible if you persist and do the right things.

Article Marketing - Latest 3 Persuasive Steps to Excel At Article Marketing

Article writers cannot be more in-demand these days. With millions of webmasters constantly seeking for articles that they can use in their article marketing campaigns, they can indeed keep millions of article writers busy for a while. With it's proven ability to generate traffic and communicate the webmaster's knowledge and abilities, article marketing is fast becoming the most sought-after traffic-generating tool.

Here are the latest 3 persuasive steps to excel in article marketing:

1. Determine the use of your articles. Article marketing isn't just about submitting your articles to publishing sites. It also pertains to the distribution of your written materials in the internet using other different avenues. Thus, in writing your articles, you have to determine its usage. Are you going post them on publishing sites, on your blogs, on your website or perhaps you'll send them through e-mail marketing. In doing so, you can effectively plan the elements that you will incorporate and other add-ons that you will strike out. You would not want to use your articles with resource box on your own website, do you?

2. Be specific. Explain your ideas by giving concrete examples and specific information. For instance, if you would like to teach your readers on how to make money online, cite specific methods like blogging, article writing, and affiliate marketing, instead of telling them to google search certain terms to get the information they want. If you already have the information, why not just give it upfront? It will not only help your readers but it can also be your effective way of getting your potential audience's trust.

3. Be original. Don't be just another writer. Be different by exhibiting a new level of creativeness in your articles. Develop unique methods that can easily be associated with you so you can make a huge mark online.

Article Marketing; Quality over Quantity

I am certainly no writer. Actually to those whom know me I am more of a ranter than anything. I have been writing on and off for many years (started a book on a typewriter back in the 80s). Do I have a style? I have no bloody idea, you tell me. I sure hope I do or else theres pretty good chance you havent even made it this far. I have recently been working closely with an editor friend to refine my limited talents. Over the course of our chats I decided an article about Article Marketing while sounding redundant, would be worth writing.

Not another one of these? Yes, I know there are more than few article marketing pieces out there, I am taking a slightly different angle. We are going to look at what makes a successful article marketing campaign so you can get the most out of a competitive marketplace. Competitive? I thought it was about getting Back Links you say? Thats where it starts to go wrong. The number one most common use of Article Repositories, is usually to get Back Links NOT as the full powered Marketing tool that it can be. This is what I often find short-sighted.

Lets look at some of the benefits and usage for Article Marketing programs; Surf-in traffic; This is really the number one reason. Above and beyond all else a well written article and marketed article will bring you traffic in the short and long term. I get traffic to our sites that came from an article I had written and marketed over a year ago. If you write a well thought out article that has lasting value, it will live out on the internet for quite some time. Traffic is always my goal and this is a major value to Article Marketing.

Link Profile development; This while not a primary focus for me, is a great additional benefit. Search engines, to a certain extent, base rankings from the number of Back Links (or In-Bound Links) a web site has pointing to it. This gives Article Marketing its second value. Through use of proper Link Text and keyword/phrase usage, your Article Marketing campaign can have a positive effect on your rankings and search referrers. For full effectiveness be sure to learn about building your Link Profile ( methinks I should write a Building your Link Profile article FIRST and then link to it. Thoughts?)

Building brand; well written articles and building a body of work will also help build the Brand of your company or yourself as an authoritative figure on the subject matter. This is also invaluable to any enterprise or undertaking. The opposite is also true that poorly written, shoddy or lazy articles can harm your reputation. Do it right or dont do it at all.

Tracking the Articles extra sensory perception

An over-looked area that makes it a true Program is the tracking. Dont just write and article, publish it onto the Dub-Dub-Dub a leave her to float away. How cruel, cold and uncaring. Watch the progress of the article. See how many times it is downloaded and viewed on the publishing site. Search Google for the Article Title in quotation marks, ( eg; My Article Title) to see how many times it was syndicated by other sites. See if anyone has reviewd it or quoted it and send them a thank-you. Tracking will also allow you to see which articles do the best. Now look at the style you wrote it in, the topic and other common factors. Soon you can start to choose topics and styles that will get you the most coverage with each successive article. Fun stuff huh?

Quality over quantity

Certainly a catch phrase these days in SEO (links, content etc), but it does hold true. You see, throwing out a ton of simplistic, non-engaging articles will do little more than garner a few back links. A well written article does so much more and you can even expect MORE back links as the eventual distribution/syndication of the article should be wider due to the lack of quality competitors.

A quality article will also be better received and promoted by the managers of your distribution sources (article repositories, e-magazines, newsletter editors). My number one 'editor in chief' Mark, certainly laments the vast number of pure drivel that arrives on his virtual doorstep every day. If you can entertain the distribution mangers and editors, you have won half of the battle. To that end I would also consider getting professional help. You heard me seek help!. With my SEO Company I keep professional writers around. I let them so what they do best and then my SEO guys do what they do best, optimize the article. Sure it raises my over-all cost, but if you factor in the many benefits of crafting professional work, its always worth it.

The main point is to not look at article marketing as simply another Link Drop. It is far more than that. Make sure you leverage it for all its worth.

Article Marketing Insights by a Real Article Marketer

Article Marketing Insights by a Real Article Marketer

Dont take offense to that if you are a real article marketer. And I will let you determine what a real article marketer is.

But one of the things I have observed online is that there are roughly 100 people or less who make a full time income online using article marketing. I call them real article marketers. Then there are people who are actually article marketing, but just do it part time and I dont know the number of this group.

But I can tell you this. At the time you are reading this, I have over 1300 articles published online, and all of them are set up in such a way that I get traffic to my web site from them every single day.

The articles are my lifeblood they drive the traffic that makes me a living.

In the process of writing and publishing 1300 articles, I have developed some insights. The first insight is that there are two purposes to article marketing.

One purpose is that of generating backlinks to your web site. To do that you need to write a few articles and submit them to hundreds of article directories.

The other purpose of article directories is to write multiple articles and submit them to a few directories, the top few directories in terms of traffic.

Another insight I have had is that you cannot accurately measure article marketing results after 20 articles, or even 100 articles. I have been article marketing for over 8 months now, and I still get traffic from the very first articles I published over 8 months ago. This means that there is a cumulative effect of time on my articles. If I had measured the success of my articles that first month I would have only been measuring 1/8 of the total time that my article is online. And if I try to do a complete measurement right now, I would only get half of the result that I will if I measure in another 8 months. What about 5 years from now?

It is impossible for me to even imagine the total impact of my articles after 5 years on the internet.

Fastest Way To Make a Million Dollars

The fastest way to make a million dollars (legally) is to sell a product or service of value to the widest customer base possible in the shortest time span allowable. The best tool that we have available at our disposal to achieve this is the Internet.

There are millions of niches through which you can make tons of money on the Internet, without having to spend a dime on advertising or without even creating or managing a product, a service, or an inventory.

All you have to do is join an affiliate program, join a drop shipping program, or set up a blog, and kick off an advertising campaign it using one of the many free advertising venues that exist today, such as article marketing, participating in discussion forums, and free online classifieds.

The more traffic you can drive to your website, the more money you will make. For example, if you have a goal to earn $100,000 this month (which is about $1.2 million per year), and you join an affiliate program for a product that pays you 25% of each sale of a $100 product. That means that you will earn $25 per sale. At that rate, you would need to generate 4,000 sales in one month in order to make a net profit of $100,000.

How much traffic do you need to generate in order to get those 4,000 sales? Assume that for every 100 people who visit your website, only 10 people actually click through to your affiliate advertisement and buy the product. That effectively means that your odds of getting a sale are 1 in 10.

This is not unlike a traditional retail store at the mall. Not everyone who stops by in your store will actually buy something. Some people are only there to window shop.

So, if you need 10 visitors in order to make 1 sale, and you need to make 4,000 sales, therefore you would need 40,000 unique visitors to your website every month in order to reach your goal of $100,000 per month. That's about 1,333 visitors per day.

How do you get those 40,000 unique visitors to your website every month? You can use free advertising methods as described above, or you can use pay-per-click advertising in which you link directly to the affiliate product you are trying to sell, instead of to your own blog. For example, if you could pay 5 cents per click such that every time someone clicks on your advertisement as seen in the search results for services such as Google, then it would only cost you $2,000 per month in advertising costs. That $2,000 investment in advertising costs would yield $100,000 in profit!

Does it sound too good to be true? No it is not. People are making tons of money on the Internet all the time. Is it as easy as it sounds? No it is not. That is where thinking outside of the box, coming up with a good product and a good marketing strategy come into play.

If you are relatively inexperienced at internet marketing, you can expect your costs per click to be much higher and your clicks-to-sales ratio to be much higher as well.

Of course, you do not have to spend money in order to make money on the Internet. There are ways to advertise for free and get the same broad exposure as well.

Targeted Article Marketing - Announcing 4 Practical Ways to Make Money with Article Marketing

With the advent of article marketing, making money online cannot get easier these days. If you have the knack for writing, you can use this marketing tool to augment your traffic that can lead to increased online revenue. You can also write and distribute your articles to sell more products if you are engaged in affiliate marketing.

1. Article submission sites. You have to make sure that each article you write conforms to the rules set by publishers to increase their chances of being posted online. Here are the quick tips to easily win the hearts of publishers: Your articles must be keyword-rich, informative, useful to your target market, content-rich, well-written, short, scannable, and interesting. Articles that meet all the mentioned elements will surely dominate the online arena.

2. Write. Write. Write. One of your objectives in writing and distributing your articles is to make your online presence felt. You can easily do that by writing numerous articles and continuously striving to augment the number of your output.

3. Search engines. In writing your articles, it is not enough that your content is useful and valuable to your target market. Your content will be useless if your potential clients cannot find your articles online. Make your articles search-engine friendly by sprinkling generous amount of keywords and search terms on your content. Don't forget to follow the appropriate keyword density too if you don't want to be penalized for keyword abuse.

4. Target market. There are so many considerations that you need to keep in mind when writing your content but you should put your target market on top of your priority list. Why? These are the people to whom you are writing your articles for and they are the ones who can ultimately help you realized your article marketing goals.

Article Marketing - An AMAZING Technique That Pumped My "Click-Throughs" From 0.82% to 15.64%

OK. Let me ask you a really SIMPLE question. Why do you write articles? Is it to:

  • amuse yourself?
  • give you something to do when you are lonely?
  • present yourself as an authority on something?

Well, maybe. But for the vast majority of article writers the ONLY reason is to drive traffic to your website. Correct? Correct!

So, I would assume that you would be interested in a little thing that I have discovered that has shot my click through rate from a paltry average 0.82% to a very healthy current average of 15.62% - and in some instances even way beyond that. Yeah? I thought so.

Oh, damn it! Let me brag for a moment, some of my articles are averaging 28% to 35%. Do you have that? Want to know the secret to it? Yeah, I thought so.

Before I even start let me say one thing that should be as obvious to you as the nose on your face - write about something that people are INTERESTED in. Why would you write about the catalytic converter on the Gumball Space Machine? Huh? NOBODY except some geek will be even remotely interested in that. If you got even 10 views I would be AMAZED. And if you got even a single click-through I would be DOUBLE AMAZED. In fact, I'd be shocked!

Obviously the most popular subjects are those that are sexually oriented (surprise, surprise). But not everybody is interested in writing about having a giant horse penis or shaving all their pubic hair off or having a blazing affair with a 48DD hooker or Johnny Donger. Excuse my attempt at humor. I'm sure you know what I mean.

Pick a subject that has good interest and that you have some expertise in. Also, write about something that your website promotes. Now, having said that, I don't have a website about "Article Marketing" but I do have a website about making money and, after all, we write articles to get clicks to our websites to sell products and I do have an excellent e-book on... Anyway, on with the show...

It's all there for you in the statistics. Pretty much it will be staring you right in the face if you care to take a look.

You should try to get at least 30 articles up before you can start analyzing your statistics. The more articles the better. When you have over 100 articles the results will become more glaring. Personally, I have over 250 articles and they have been syndicated all over the web in all sorts of languages. So, I have a good spread to look at. Here is what I did...

First, go to any article site that collects statistics. A good one is (ahem) Ezine Articles.

Look at your top performing articles and compare them to your worst performing articles. You'll find them easy enough. Look at the subject of the articles, the headline, the teaser summary, the keywords, the number of views, the click through rate and the resource box. What is the difference between your best articles and your worst? I'll tell you one of my stats.

My worst article - 1304 views for ZERO clicks - yep - a big FAT nought.
One of the best - 2667 views for 400 clicks - wow! - a 15% click-through rate!

Now what does that tell you? I'll tell you what it tells me...

The headlines and keywords were both pretty good. The teaser (or summary) was also pretty good. I know all that because, in both instances, I got pretty good viewing rates and I continue to get more views. So what else? One article enticed 400 people to want to know more while the other enticed nobody. The loser article was just a tell all, feel good piece of writing. Also, the resource boxes were drastically different between the two.

So, you see, by examining these statistics you can learn a lot about what will encourage people to click through to your site for more information. If you ignore it you will stay in the click-through doldrums.

Examine your statistics. Look at headlines, the teaser summary, the keywords, the article body (copy) and the construction of your resource box for the greatest number of click throughs. Replicate what works and chuck out anything that just hangs around like a stale bottle of beer. You will be amazed, like I am, at what you can refine when you know EXACTLY what is working for you and what isn't. My click-throughs have risen dramatically from 0.82% to 15.62% and some are much higher.

You can do this too. It just takes a bit of analysis to see what causes the statistics that you receive.

Like I said, I don't have an Article Marketing website. But I do have a wealth creation website so if you like what I have presented in this article and want to know how to make a lot more money and increase your personal wealth then click HERE

Make Money Online By Making A Website

First I would like to tell you that it is not hard to do. You do not have to have a college degree nor do you need any knowledge of programming. The only thing you will have to do to start making money online by making a website is have an open mind and be willing to learn.

I began my first website about one year ago. I had no knowledge of html, marketing, advertising or the tools needed to begin. What I did have was an Internet connection providing me with a wealth of information. I began my journey by finding out how to actually get a domain. I learned that you must find a host first. Think of an Internet host as a company that publishes your site to the net. A few good hosts are 1and1 and hostgator. Go to the host you decide and it is pretty self-explanatory. The host will walk you through the steps.

Once I had my domain registered I had to find out how to make the website so that I could start to make money online. I soon learned that the easiest and most effective way to make a website is to use a program like dream weaver or front page. I decided to use dream weaver. I went to the site and purchased the program. It took me a few days to figure out the basics but with the help of search engines I found some great articles and tutorials on how to do it.

I had my website and I began to build content. Now it was time to figure out how to make money online with my website. I went to google and registered a google ad sense account through the advertising link on their front page. I placed the google ads on my site and followed these basic rules religiously for about 6 months:

Content - The more content the better. When the major search engines send out their robots they love to see fresh content. I updated my website very frequently. I wrote articles and provided good information then I post the content on the site. When the robots came back they noticed there was fresh new content and that boosted my sites rankings toward the top. This was a great contributor to my website making money online.

Links - When the search engine robots crawl the web they also notice links. The more links that they find pointing to your site, the better. I began contacting other Webmaster with sites similar to mine. I sent them messages requesting a link exchange. Many of these webmasters were happy to do a link exchange with me. I placed their link in my links page and they place mine in their links page. The search engines started finding all kinds of links pointing to my site combined with the fresh content and my site climbed even higher in the search rankings. Now I was really starting to make money online.

Articles - I wrote an article related to my site every three days. I took this new article and posted it on my site. I then posted the article to as many article directories as possible. The articles in the directories provided a one-way link to my site but most importantly they were made available to other webmasters to post on their site. When another Webmaster posted my article on their site they had to place a link to my site along with it. Articles provide links to your site and content so it is a winning situation. Articles are, in my opinion, the number one way to make money online after you make a website.

I followed these basics principles and still do today. In the recent month I have quite my day job. I am now living very comfortable doing something I had no idea how to do one year ago. Making money online is not as hard as you think. Following these basic guidelines and you can make a website and start your very own home business today.
